After reading “Living in Wonder” by Rod Dreher (see my previous book discussions), I wanted to pick up a book that had a similar aim to encourage Christians to deepen their relationship with God but was tempered with the wisdom of a spiritual father. This book, which is much shorter, packs exactly the punch I was looking for. In the next week or so, I will be sharing insights from this book, and I hope you will join me in pursuing a deeper relationship with God through prayer.
